traces its origins to Daimler Motors Gesellschaft, produced by Daimler Engines
in 1901, and Benz Patent Motorvagen designed by engineer Karl Benz in 1886,
widely considered to be the primary gasoline-powered car. The brand slogan is
"better or nothing", which is widely seen because of the first
combustion engine during a wheeled vehicle.

The origins of Mercedes-Benz are often
traced back to Karl Benz’s invention of the primary gasoline-powered car, a Benz
Patent automobile funded by his wife Berta Benz and patented in January 1886,
and to Daimler and engineer Wilhelm Maybach converting a horse carriage into a
car by adding an internal-combustion engine at a time. Later that year. The
Mercedes was first marketed in 1901 by Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft.In 1902
Austrian automobile entrepreneur Emil Jellinek, who worked with Daimler Engines,
created the brand after naming the car manufactured in 1901 by the name
Mercedes 35 hp after the name of his daughter, Mercedes Jelinek. Emil Jellinek
was a businessman and marketing strategist who promoted Daimler cars among the
elite of society in his rented home, which at the time was a gathering place
for the elite of society in France and Europe, especially within the winter
season. Among his clients are the Rothschilds and other well-known
personalities. But Yelnick's plans went further: As early as 1901 he was
selling Mercedes cars within the New World also, including American
billionaires Rockefeller, Astor, and Morgan. during a race in Nice in 1899, he

artistic activities in France and England, in 1862 he began working as an art
painter in Geislingen. At the top of 1863 he was appointed as a workshop
inspector at a machine factory in Reutlingen, where he met Wilhelm Maybach in
1865. Throughout the 1930s, Mercedes-Benz produced the Model 770, a car that was
hip during the Nazi period in Germany. Hitler was known to drive these cars
during his time in power, with bulletproof windshields. Most of the remaining
models were sold at auctions to non-public buyers. one among them is currently
on display at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, Ontario. The Pope is usually
